Mount Airy Casino Resort

Renovations are underway

Opening in the summer of 2009, the Mount Airy Casino Resort Golf Club promises a challenging and enjoyable golf experience for both the expert golfer and the casual player.

Mount Airy Casino Resort selected nationally recognized golf course architect Dan Schlegel to oversee the design and construction phases for a large-scale renovation of the existing golf course.

Upon completion of the renovation, Mount Airy Casino Resort Golf Club patrons will have their choice from four sets of newly constructed bentgrass tee boxes, providing an equally rewarding golf experience for all skill levels. In addition, reconstructed greens complexes, built to USGA specifications, will offer Mount Airy Casino Resort Golf Club guests the latest in bentgrass putting surfaces, along with fresh new green surrounds and bunkering. Widened and enhanced fairway and rough areas will help keep golfers on pace, while keeping the design of the golf course on par with the developments of today’s game.

Along with a challenging 6,800-yard layout, golfers can look forward to scenic mountain views, rolling terrain, and the countless ponds and streams that dot the surrounding landscape.

The improvements to the Mount Airy Casino Resort Golf Club will undoubtedly offer many new challenges while preserving the character of the original golf course, a Pocono Mountains favorite of golfers in years past—and most certainly for years to come.
