The Pocono Mountains will receive the same benefit from the soon-to-be-developed Mount Airy Foundation. As the company’s non-profit component, the foundation is designed to oversee charitable giving to the communities in which Mount Airy Casino Resort’s employees live and work.
The foundation board will comprise employees and managers at Mount Airy Casino Resort, as well as a cross-section of community leaders. This diverse composition ensures that the foundation’s gifts and investments respond directly to the changing needs of a growing community.
The goal is clear—to invest in you, the people of the region, working with initiatives that improve your quality of life and enhance personal and economic opportunity. Mount Airy Casino Resort employees will also be educated about and encouraged to pursue volunteer and charitable efforts, both supported by the foundation and connected to their own interests and lives. Mount Airy Casino Resort will underwrite and absorb all administrative costs associated with managing and operating the foundation, ensuring that 100 percent of company and employee contributions reach and benefit the intended recipients.
